Me?
Well I'm reading the rather lovely "Peter Cushing: The Gentle Man of Horror and his 91 Films".
Strange reading as well, as Peter was obviously still alive when this came out.
Nice coverage of all his films now matter how early and obscure.

NEW REVIEWS: "Triumph of the Will"/"The Ravager"/"Werewolf & the Yeti"

just started the new thriller by Jean Christophe Grangé - <<Le Serment des Limbes>> - excellent reading, highly recommended.
just finished <<Au Secours Pardon>> by Frederic Beigbeder, a sort of sequel to <<99 francs>> - not bad.

RE: What are you currently reading then?
i enjoyed some of graham hancock's books, suitably esoteric. i would be interested on your viewpoint on this book, steve, i haven't heard of this one before.
currently i am reading NUE (trans. Nude) by Sylvia Kristel (she of Emmanuelle fame), which is the autobiography she has just written (released in English as <<Undressing Emmanuelle>>, I believe). I was expecting it to be either badly written, obviously ghost written, or gutter press trash but actually it reads easily and is entertaining, amusing and interesting. SOunds like she has had quite an involved life...

The rather splendid (and very big) "American Nightmare" by Stephen Thrower.
A mighty tome on America's Exploitation film makers.

I'm reading LUGOSI: HIS LIFE IN FILMS, ON STAGE , AND IN THE HEARTS OF HORROR LOVERS by Gary Don Rhodes, so far from what I've taken in, THE definitive book on Bela Lugosi and everything he ever did.
