THE CLOWN MURDERS (1976)

A long time favorite of mine, this Canadian thriller starring a very young John Candy is not only a movie, but a great slice of Canadiana. A killer is after those little trick or treaters on Halloween. Some great scares..I'm not sure if this is even represented on DVD yet?

Perhaps one only us Canadians could truly love, Steve, but I dug it too. Very homegrown horror but worth discovering.

Of course, pay tv was such a big deal at the time. The first movie shown on the 1st day of Super Channel was Star Wars. They used to repeat the same 20-30 movies so often, I think I saw Ghost Story a million times....

Some of us Americans dig it as well. Smile It's nice to see John Candy it something a little different. Can't wait till the DVD is released, it'll be a nice upgrade from my worn out VHS...
