Had to get a thread started for this highly antisapated last 3rd and final sequel to the Mothers Trilogy (Suspiria, Inferno and now Mother of Tears). We will be having Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni on Darker Side of the Moon Radio on Feb 15th to discuss her part in the film as well as maybe some inside info!

I really do so want to get to see this on the Big Screen. Hopefully the distributors give it a global chance at success & Dario shows fans old & new what he can really do. bb

I am so greatly anticipating this Argento film.
And I agree, it would be wonderful for a wide theatrical release as I would love to see it on the big screen.
Your bringing that up made me wonder, BB, when the last Theatrical Release for an Argento Film in the US was.

Well, I know each time Argento comes to the US to see a premiere of his films, he generally walks out pissed! Usually cut or edited without his consent etc..In fact, I think it was TENEBRE where he actually was screaming while the films was playing, he was so damn pissed!

I never heard that story before ! That's hysterical! But not so funny for Argento I suppose. Ha ha.

I would have loved to have been in that theater.

It would not surprise me if the last Great Cinema release Stateside from Dario was for OPERA back in 1987 !!!. Geez , way too long. bb

another one of the stars - valaria cavalli - called me on my cell phone (and i just missed her call) - but i shall be calling her over the weekend. i'll see if i can get any more info. cavalli will be familiar to fans from her appearance in a blade in the dark and fulci's new gladiators as jared martin's doomed wife. also she revcently appeared in ZODIAQUE - which i mentioned elsewhere in the forums - one of my favourite series on tv in recent times.

Ok the release date has been pushed to October 31st 2007. Medusa would like it to tie in with a huge Halloween promo..ya right! Anyhow, there is also some rumblings of it being way to violent and Medusa wants it cut. Anyhow, here's the full story via the Profondo Rosso Store site! (in Italian).
