I for sure will never forget the great man Peter Cushing. One of the staples of movie education for me were the movies of Peter Cushing / Christopher Lee from the Hammer stable. Late night double bills & the delightful rarity of a Horror Express were always such a thrill.
I regularly retell a story which apparently involved Mr. Cushing giving a pint of blood one day & then feeling queezy after the event to the degree of then needing two pints back in order to get him back on his feet. How ironic !.
Still today very much an iconic figure that is highly watchable in many, many fine roles. bb
Of course yet another irony is that today (27th May) is actually Christopher Lee's Birthday. Two of the giants of Horror born one day apart & so intrinsically linked.
