I figured this was a popular thread on the old board so why not revamp it here!

Myself, I have been listening alot to the Beatles LOVE album. It's neat how Sir George Martin and his son change and update some of the more popular Beatles tunes. They are all great..

I have also been listening to NOVEMBERS DOOM as well..
Just discovering Japanese popster Kimi Koda. Western styled pop with a very upbeat energy & this girl sure makes Cool videos. Her latest album complete with a DVD of pretty much all the tracks in a limited edition ( Cheaper if purchasing the Korean version as of course those Japanese prices are ... HIGH ) . bb
currently i am listening to (on my ipod):

i/ cédric atlan: aparté pop [a limited edition album which can only be bought through his website]. also his first album is enjoyable.

ii/ raphael: résistance a la nuit. raphael's live album released last year. raphael is currently france's number 1 star and this live album is great with both songs from caravane and his earlier albums as well.

iii/ thierry amiel: thierry amiel - his second album. has a similar to voice to calogero, and a similar melody to his songs.

iv/ zazie: rodéo tour. another live album and one of the best ones released last year (along with raphael's - listed above). i love zazie and i enjoy how she has modernised and rearranged her songs for this album. the dvd of the concert is cool too Big Grin.
Right now I am going on a Last FM Smiths binge.
I was in Virgin Records (sigh) yesterday and they had a display with all my music from college, so I am feeling nostalgic. Smile
My Mp3-played died yesterday, but before that Chicks On Speed and Le Tigre was blasting my ears to pieces - and what brilliant way to destroy my hearing Smile

Sorry to read that Fred. Sad

I've recently bought a creative zen, and it often freezes. Nice.

Anyway, I am mostly listening to songs by the Beautiful South at the moment.

I need some good 70's lounge! Any recommendations? Wink
I'm listening to the same music today that I grew up on, like Grand Funk, Deep Purple, Hawkwind, Mike Oldfield, Atomic Rooster, Black Oak, Captain Beyond, etc. and I can't leave out Frank Zappa. I think this gives you an idea of what music I'm into Smile
I love Hawkwind! Some great music there Demented!
