ANNOUNCEMENT!

Folks, our good friends at Renegade Motion Pictures are looking for investors for their upcoming film AUTUMN which is going to be directed by Steven Rambelow and based on the novel written by David Moody. Investments starting at $20 or more which will go directly into the remaining production costs of the film itself. So far they have covered 75% of the cost. Here's a description of the book itself.

In less than twenty-four hours a vicious and virulent disease destroys almost all of the population. Billions are killed. Thousands die every second.

There are no symptoms and no warnings. Within moments of infection each victim suffers a violent and agonising death. Only a handful of survivors remain. By the end of the first day those survivors wish they were dead.

A small group of desperate people take shelter together in a village hall on the outskirts of a large city. Too afraid to venture out into the infected world, their shelter becomes a prison and the frightened group begins to splinter and crack under the emotional and physical pressure of the inexplicable situation.

Terrified and trapped without electricity, water or supplies, the survivors exist from hour to hour.

Then the disease strikes again. And all hell breaks loose.

If interested in learning more about this investment just click the AUTUMN banner near the top of the page.

Yes, finally we are back! I would like to apologize for the long wait for this double "bitch slapped" update! Several variables were working against me in getting this one up! Well....you can't keep the Underbelly of Film down for long! We have a bunch of new material and some new faces here as well. First though, I hope everyone had a great X-Mas and New Years, looking for the best for you all in this the new year of 2007!

Folks, I would like to start with introducing two of our newest contributor to the CN team. Our first new contributor is Harvey Chartrand who is from the Ottawa are here in Canada. He was a long time contributor to the long running webzine Horror-Wood, which due to the sudden and very sad death of it's owner Joe Meadows is now in limbo. So, we here at Cinema Nocturna and with the help of Harvey will be saving at least bits and pieces of Horror-Wood before it too meets it's demise, by bringing Harvey's material over here.. We have added a new section called HARVEY'S HAYWAGON OF HOBGOBLINS which will house not only some of his contributions to HW, but his new work here for CN as well. I hope you all give Harvey a warm welcome to the team and enjoy his work!

Our second newest member of the team is Cathleen Grado who hails from the south of us in the US. We here at Cinema Nocturna are excited to have Cathleen aboard as our first female writer. Look forward to her exciting style of writing. Once again, please help us welcome Cathleen to the team!
