Well, things are really starting to get into full gear with the new issue of this Jean Rollin fan newsletter. Not to say the first to weren’t good, it just keeps getting better! Filled with massive amount of information for those hungry fans. One particular piece of info I wanted to share with those who may not already know. Rollin’s latest project LA NUIT TRANSFIGUREE is currently in the some what pre-production phase with looking at starting production in the spring of 2004. Long time friend and producer Lionel Wallmann has decided to get fans into the fold with this latest project. Having troubles raising funds for the film, Wallmann is offering those who wish to contribute $50US or more a piece of the pie. Here’s the list of things you will get if you contribute.
2. A film documentary of the film in production shot by Wallmann.
3. A personal copy vhs/dvd of the film.

Continuing with the look at this great third edition, the usual look into the world of Jean Rollin. Something new in this issue, a section called Point/Counter Point where they look at the Redemption DVD of THE DEMONIACS. Also reviews include one from CN’s very own Sean Patrick Dolan for the film LA ROSE DE FER. An article called Defining "Rollinade" written by Adam Williams looks at Jean Rollin’s style. We also get a nod in the issue for my last review, sorry Kim for only giving you the 3.5. This review will not disappoint you then. Anyhow this is a must read for any Rollin fan, old or new.
