Devin Kelly : so that's OK about the reviews?

Nathan : Steve, you need to lemme see it

Devin Kelly : MAN FROM DEEP RIVER will be to you tonight for sure

SteveG(BBI) : ok

Nathan : cool

Devin Kelly : THE DYNAMITE SUN tomorrow...I know it's cutting it short, but you probably won't find pictures for it anyway it's so damn obscure.:)

SteveG(BBI) : give it till 15 minutes after to get rolling..

SteveG(BBI) : Barbara are you with us?

Devin Kelly : OK

Devin Kelly : I think she's making a coffee

BarbaraM : yes I am!

Devin Kelly : Oh there she is!

SteveG(BBI) : Everything work out ok with working the chat?

BarbaraM : Absolutely! Thank you

SteveG(BBI) : ok...good to hear.

Devin Kelly : Kit J. Gavin might stop by tonight for this chat Steve

SteveG(BBI) : Be nice to see Kit

SteveG(BBI) : hear from him that is

Devin Kelly : yes

SteveG(BBI) : You know what, let's start

Devin Kelly : sounds good

SteveG(BBI) : Barbara, if I may....How did you get involved with Dario Argento's Suspiria?

BarbaraM : I was in Spain vacationing and got called by my agent to meet Dario

SteveG(BBI) : Spain very nice!

Devin Kelly : Do you have a personal favorite giallo Barbara?

BarbaraM : One of my favorite is from Dario L'uccello dalle piume di cristallo

Devin Kelly : Ah yes, starring the lovely Suzy Kendall

SteveG(BBI) : Yes, one of mine as well!

Devin Kelly : and Tony Musante, I like him...good actor

SteveG(BBI) : Hello Frankie

frankie : hello

Devin Kelly : Hey Frankie

evil d : lo frankie

BarbaraM : Absolutely!I think it was one of his first films

Devin Kelly : yes, 1970

SteveG(BBI) : Had you ever though about working under Dario before Suspiria?

SteveG(BBI) : wanted to for that matter?

BarbaraM : No but I loved it!!!

Devin Kelly : Do you think Dario is overrated more by North Americans than Italians?

frankie : overrated?

Devin Kelly : yes like do we make a bigger deal out of him?

frankie : appreciated

Devin Kelly : OK I'll go with that

Devin Kelly : Frankie's hooked on phonics tonight

BarbaraM : What do you mean by that Devin?

frankie : :)

Devin Kelly : I mean is he as big to you Italians as he is to us Americans and Candians

Devin Kelly : like is he as big a deal in Italy compared to what non-Italians make of him? We look at him as a horror God

BarbaraM : I think so definetely

Devin Kelly : I wondered because you guys have had more exposure to him

BarbaraM : To me he is like a kid in a plyground.

SteveG(BBI) : He seems like that in many interviews.

BarbaraM : He totally is in person and in his work too.

Devin Kelly : He's dedicated for sure, it's evident

frankie : would you like to work with him again?

SteveG(BBI) : How does he treat the actor in general?

SteveG(BBI) : sorry Frankie..

frankie : cattle?

frankie : all good

BarbaraM : I'd love too ,particularly because I feel that I am so much better now.

Devin Kelly : Barbara, before I ask a question, would you feel at all uncomfortable talking a little about Marc Porel's death?

SteveG(BBI) : I'd be nice to see you in another Argento film, with a large role as well.

SteveG(BBI) : larger

BarbaraM : I mean as an actess and a peron

BarbaraM : I actually think that is totally possible in the near future.

Devin Kelly : What are your memories of the late Marc Porel?

BarbaraM : you have to pardon my typos I run to open the door..

Devin Kelly : no problem

BarbaraM : Marc Porel was my husbund and it pained me to see him degrading himself

frankie : sorry to hear that. he was a great talent

Devin Kelly : How did it get to be that way for him?

BarbaraM : yes he was a great talent and a tormented person.

BarbaraM : it got to be that way because of drugs

Devin Kelly : Do you recall being notified of his death? It happened in Casablanca didn't it?

BarbaraM : Actually I was in bed one night and I got a message from him obviously out of his body .He came to tell me that he had passed away. I wasn't told till one week later .But I already knew!

frankie : wow, incredible story

SteveG(BBI) : Yes, indeed it is Barbara.....you and Marc must'ov had a great bonding.

BarbaraM : I had really incredible stuff happening when he died. Ghost is nothing compared!

BarbaraM : Yes , me and Marc had that type of bonding. It my standard on a relationship!

SteveG(BBI) : What was it like working alongside him during the production of Ursula's Sister?

BarbaraM : It was great ! Unfortunatly that particular movie turned out to be a sabotaging of our carreers.

Devin Kelly : I'm back again, was having problems...

frankie : that sucks :(

Devin Kelly : oh well

BarbaraM : Ok!

SteveG(BBI) : sorry to hear Barbara

frankie : so, how did the two of you meet?

BarbaraM : There are two other movies I shot with Marc which I loved!

Devin Kelly : What role of Marc Porel's would you recommend to all the fans?

SteveG(BBI) : Would Blazing Flowers be one of them?

BarbaraM : We met for diner in a posh Italian restaurant for a meeting my agent arranged.

BarbaraM : One thing at the time Please

Devin Kelly : sorry, my question was delayed by the chat

SteveG(BBI) : no, that was me Devin...sorry.

Devin Kelly : It's being slow on my end ofr some reason

Devin Kelly : no problem

BarbaraM : Una spirale di nebbia Luchino Visconti

BarbaraM : that is a Marc's role I recommend

Devin Kelly : thank you

Devin Kelly : I shall try and seek it out...Visconti did a lot of dramas didn't he?

frankie : i liked him in Uomini Si Nasce, Polizia Si Moirire and Colpo In Canna

BarbaraM : Yes, Steve Blazing Flowers would be one of them and the other would be Difficile Morire

SteveG(BBI) : ok thx barbara

frankie : i need to see that one!

Devin Kelly : yes BLAZING FLOWERS is a fairly rare film to find for collector's

BarbaraM : I liked Uomini si nasce Poliziotti si muore too

frankie : oops, spelled it wrong :) it is a great film tho !

frankie : okay, i have to ask

SteveG(BBI) : Yes, one of my favortie Deodato films.

Devin Kelly : In Sergio Martino's SUSPECTED DEATH OF A MINOR, what was it like working with Mel Ferrer? He's one of my favorites in Italian cult films.

frankie : in Uomini Si Nasce, were Ray Lovelock and Marc supposed to be lovers?

BarbaraM : Mel? I thought he was a great actor and a gentleman

Devin Kelly : he's been in a lot of films...always a welcome face

BarbaraM : I agree!

BarbaraM : What were you going toask Frankie?

SteveG(BBI) : What are your thoughts about working with Deodato's Inferno in diretta?

frankie : if in Uomini Si Nasce Marc and Ray Lovelock were supposed to be lovers. it's kinda hinted at...i thought maybe the Italian language version made it more clear

SteveG(BBI) : sorry put mine on hold.

BarbaraM : never heard about that !

frankie : :)

frankie : maybe i was reading a little too much into it

BarbaraM : Deodato is a gret friend and a professional ! I was excited to work with him and in the USA

BarbaraM : No problem Frankie

frankie : did he rub your earlobes?

BarbaraM : What do you mean?

frankie : well, on the DVD for Inferno In Diretta, Richard Lynch says that Deodato rubbed his earlobes while he was talking to him

BarbaraM : You trust gossip too much. Did you see him doing that?Or was hear say?

Devin Kelly : How did Marc become associated with the film DELITTO CARNALE? Have you ever met it's director Cesare Canevari? He did a very controversial Nazi exploitation film called GESTAPO'S LAST ORGY. Is Canevari as slimy as his films?

frankie : well, it was the actor who said it. maybe he was just kidding

BarbaraM : When Marc did that movie we were separated. I would have objected very much if I had known the nature of the movie and the director. I thing he is a degraded being.

Devin Kelly : It starred controversial stars of the time like Dirce Funari and Moana Pozzi

Devin Kelly : did you ever meet either of them by any chance?

BarbaraM : No , and I wouldn't be interested to either!

Devin Kelly : I appreciate your honest comments

BarbaraM : I don't think you could call these kind of degradation stars.

Devin Kelly : well they have a cult following believe it or not

frankie : i take it you're not a fan of Porno Holocaust huh Barbara? :)

Devin Kelly : I will call them actresses...you are a star Barbara! They weren't in classics like SUSPIRIA so I agree with you

SteveG(BBI) : Ok guys....let's stop there and take another route. One that has more to do with Barbara.

BarbaraM : Sure they do ! I believe that kind of pornography is a trap.

Devin Kelly : Is this your reason for your dislike of a film like URSULA'S SISTER?

Devin Kelly : for example, I wonder what type of person the director Enzo Milioni was?

BarbaraM : The reason I disliked that movie was because those scenes were added later without my consent and or knowledge. How would you feel about something like that?

frankie : i would be pissed!

Devin Kelly : It's unprofessional and wrong...I would probably sue the director

Devin Kelly : did you?

Devin Kelly : take legal action I mean?

BarbaraM : Exactely what I had in mind!

Devin Kelly : what was the outcome and what was Enzo Milioni's argument?

frankie : that sort of thing happened alot in the old days

BarbaraM : yes , particularly in Italy I think. In USA it is a lot more professional

SteveG(BBI) : Barbara what are you currently working on, or about to?

BarbaraM : To answer the other question on Enzo Milioni,I think his actions speak for themseves .He befriended me and stubbed me in the back.

Devin Kelly : well it shows how his career went downhill, he only did two films after

BarbaraM : currently I am working on a production of a film called GODS and I am planning a big return as an actress as well.

Devin Kelly : excellent!

BarbaraM : Thank you!

frankie : sounds interesting!

SteveG(BBI) : Please keep us updated here at CN, we would love to help you out in any promotions.

Devin Kelly : What do you think about the state of the Italian film industry compared to what it once was?

BarbaraM : I have a "bad "copy of it. Blazing flowers is one of these Italian polizieschi genre . It 's fun to whach.

frankie : so do you enjoy these types of films?

Devin Kelly : I love some it's cast, there's you, Marc Porel, George Hilton, and one of the best, AL CLIVER!

Devin Kelly : well, without disrespecting her, she had an alcohol problem

Devin Kelly : still alive though

Kristy75 : Well, I thought she was really good in MONSTER HUNTER
